New feature on SC!

A user's home page now displays other usernames which have the same or similar IP.

IMO chim shouldn't have displayed it so soon, when the multi-username users see it they will be extra careful to use different proxies and stuff. Chim should have implemented the system and collected the data over a month or two and then display it, in the hope the spammers will slip up and login to their other names without using a proxy first.

Although I guess the system is open to a lot of flaws re dynamic IPs.

My other username is Cheesespin but it doesn't appear on my page because I haven't logged into it for ages, this is what I mean in my 1st post. All this data should have been collected a few months in advance before displaying it.

oh true...but yeah, it's not going to work that well with dynamic ip's, which i would assume most have. well, i have anyway..lol mind you, i only have one other name, and i haven't been in that for years.

I haven't found out much I didn't already know. Disappointing :/

And yeah with dynamic IPs/proxies/Onion Tor nodes there will be mistakes.

hi cheese, the new feature does nothing to stop spamming or trolling though, wtf is chimdoing? other than slagging people off who make new feature suggestions to stop the problems there.

Sorry that may make me unpopular, and sound ungrateful, but chim is getting what they deserve etc

SC will always have a place in my heart like AG because of all the people i met who i some how managed to miss on AG all those years ago..lol sadly these days...9 out of 10 times i really just can't be bothered even logging in.
